Many houses were raided by police in a new political operation carried out in the central districts of Amed in the morning.

After the searches, many people including Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) executives Ramazan Karakaya, Hamit Onur, Murat Öndeş and Zeki Bağcık were taken into custody.

Those detained have been taken to Diyarbakır Police Headquarters.
