They are demanding an end to the isolation regime imposed on Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and his freedom. 

The hunger strike in Strasbourg was prompted by the fast initiated by HDP Hakkari MP, Leyla Guven in Amed jail. 

Among the 14 activists on hunger strike are former MP Dilek Öcalan, KCDK-E co-chair Yüksel Koç and politician Mustafa Sarıkaya.

Visitors continue to flock to the Community Centre where the action is taking place. 
Dozens of institutions from Germany, France, Switzerland and Austria as well as people from Europe visited the activists. 

Abdullah İbrahimzade, a dentist from East Kurdistan was one of the visitors and underlined that the action against isolation is very important.
He said he regretted that he could not participate to the hunger strike for his medical duties. 

VISITS FROM GERMANY, AUSTRIA AND SWITZERLAND 

KCDK-E co-chair Fatoş Göksungur visited the protesters and offered their support.

Members of the Vienna People's Assembly, as well as people from Linz and St. Pölten who came to Strasbourg by a bus they hired to bring support to the activists. 

People from the German cities of Koblenz, Ludwigshafen and Mannheim also visited the activists, together with Kurds coming from the Swiss city of Kur. 

Kurds in Strasbourg and Alsace also make constant presence in the Community Centre to ensure hunger strikers are never alone. 

Die Linke (Left Party) MP, Martin Dolzer, came to Strasbourg and offered his support to the activists. Dolzer stressed that the Kurdish people should not be left alone by European states.
