Migration flow from Lebanon to the Autonomous Administration areas continues

Due to the Israeli attacks on Lebanon, the flow of migration to the Autonomous Administration regions of Northern and Eastern Syria continues.

According to a statement released by the Autonomous Administration Crisis Desk, the number of people who migrated from Lebanon to Northern and Eastern Syria reached 17,948, including 6,277 men, 5,678 women, 5,936 children and 46 Lebanese.

Those who come from Lebanon are mostly hosted by their relatives, while those who do not have relatives are hosted in the resettlement centre.

The Autonomous Administration's representative office in Lebanon has set up monitoring delegations for those who want to return to Northern and Eastern Syria due to the war.

The representative office co-operates in particular with the Newroz Cultural Association in Beirut to facilitate the return and meet the needs of those who want to return.

In parallel, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria has set up a crisis desk to welcome the returnees from Lebanon and provide for their needs.

The humanitarian organisation Heyva Sor a Kurd (Kurdish Red Crescent) has set up tents in several cities for the people coming from Lebanon.
