DTK Co-chair and HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Guven, who has been on a hunger strike for 98 days demanding an end to the isolation imposed upon Ocalan, briefly lost consciousness and was hospitalized. Guven has refused treatment.
DTK Co-chair and HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Guven, who has been on a hunger strike for 98 days demanding an end to the isolation imposed upon Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan, briefly lost consciousness and was hospitalized. Regaining consciousness at the hospital, Guven refused medical intervention.
Guven was placed in the ICU and her heart rhythm is being monitored.
DTK Co-chair Berdan Ozturk and HDP MPs are waiting at the hospital.
