For the late sociologist David Graeber “Öcalan has made genuine contributions to social theory and history, to human knowledge with limited material allowed."

The Fourth episode of the Let’s Talk About Öcalan podcast promoted by the International Initiative “Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan—Peace in Kurdistan” is called “Contributions”.

The podcast includes quote by the late David Graeber, Vilma Almendra, Andrej Grubačić and Joost Jongerden.

The late David Graeber said: “Öcalan has made genuine contributions to social theory and history, to human knowledge with limited material allowed. It’s so frustrating that a person who has so much to contribute is bottled up and denied the ability to contribute to human thought.”

Vilma Almendra said: “Abdullah Öcalan, teacher, brother, uncle, comrade in feminine, in mother earth, and in our assembly will be free soon. Today we commit to our own and his freedom.”

Andrej Grubačić said: “There can be no utopia or reality that is more ambitious than the democratic modernism of Abdullah Öcalan.”

Joost Jongerden said: “Öcalan is a remarkable political thinker.”
