TJK-F and CDK-F: Let's fill the streets of Paris on Saturday

Kurdish organization called everyone to protest the Paris killings on Saturday.

The French Kurdish Women's Movement (TJK-F) and the French Democratic Kurdish Council (CDK-F) made a written statement to call everyone to protest the Paris killings and attend the central demonstration in the capital of France on Saturday, 6 January.

On 9 January 2013, Sakine Cansız (Sara), Fidan Doğan (Rojbîn) and Leyla Şaylemez (Ronahî) were victims of a terrorist attack perpetrated by Turkish intelligence services in the heart of Paris.

At the end of 2022, just before the 10th anniversary of the 9 January 2013 massacre, the French Kurdish Women's Movement, led by friend Evîn Goyî called on the French authorities to 'remove the state secret on the killings'. While the women's organization was preparing for their march with the slogan 'End 10 years of impunity', the 2nd Paris massacre took place. On 23 December 2022 Evîn Goyî (Emine Kaya), Abdurrahman Kızıl and Mîr Perwer, were murdered in Paris.

The Kurdish organizations said in their statement that "since then, the Kurdish community has continued to demand justice, relentlessly demanding that all light be shed on this triple feminicide."

The statement added: "Throughout these 11 years, the investigation was hampered by defense secrecy, a major obstacle to the progress of the investigation and the judgment of the sponsors, including Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Hakan Fidan."

The statement questioned "why have the French authorities not shared the information in their possession to allow the judicial authorities to carry out their mission of truth and justice? What do they have to blame for these assassinations?"

The Kurdish organization demanded "the lifting of defense secrecy and demand that justice finally be done to the Kurds and the families of the victims.

We are calling everyone to attend the march to be held on 6 January 2024, at 11 a.m., departing from Gare du Nord."
