Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan's birthday is being celebrated with different events in many European cities.

Events were held on Saturday in Heilbronn, Saarbrücken and Paris.

Heilbronn

The Heilbronn Kurdish Community Center and Women's Council organised an action in Klianzplatz.

Brochures and books containing the ideas and paradigm of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan were displayed at the stand opened by the organisations.

During the event, speakers drew attention to the life of Abdullah Öcalan and the isolation imposed on him in Imralı.

Saarbrücken

An event was held in front of the Saar Teater to celebrate the birthday of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan in Saarbrücken.

In the speech made on behalf of the organization committee, the importance of Abdullah Öcalan for the Kurds was highlighted.

Attention was drawn to the role played by Öcalan not only for the Kurds, but for the entire Middle East.

Paris

In Paris the birthday of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan was celebrated with an action organised by Teko-JIN.

At the rally held in Republique Square, young women said that they do not want Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan to spend another 4 April in prison.
