A group of Kurds from Nuremberg took over the Freedom for Öcalan Vigil in Strasbourg.
The Freedom for Öcalan Vigil, which has been going on for 12 years in Strasbourg, was taken over by 4 Kurds from Nuremberg.
Roni Algur, Mazlum Eren, Ibrahim Demir and Mehmet Algur took over the action, and gave a message saying it was necessary to increase the struggle against the isolation in Imrali.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Roni Algur said: "An unprecedented crime against humanity is being committed on Imralı Island. The Kurdish People's Leader, Mr. Abdullah Öcalan, has not met with his family and lawyers for 1265 days.
The key to justice and peace in the Middle East is in Imrali. Severe torture and isolation are being applied in Imrali."
