Kurdish women protest in Darmstadt: Not hunger but silence kills

Kurds and their friends continue their protests all around the world in solidarity with the hunger strike and death fast activists.

JCA and JXK carried out actions in Darmstadt city of Germany to attract attention for the hunger strike and the Death Fast protests demanding the end of the isolation executed against Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

“Not hunger but silence kills” is the motto for which the Kurdish young women want to gain attention for the massive hunger strike protest.

In order to enlighten the critical situation of the hunger strike and the Death Fast, JCA (Jinên Ciwan ên Azad, Kurdish Young Women’s Movement) and JXK (Jinên Xwendekar ên Kurdistan, Female Students of Kurdistan) carried out actions in three different places in Darmstadt city of Germany.

The young women closed off places in the city center and the local university with barricade tape and drew dead bodies on the floor.

At the same time flyers were distributed to passers-by to draw attention to the current situation of the resistance of the Kurdish people.
