In Raqqa everyone is working towards victory

The operation to liberate Raqqa has left 76 days behind. The fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are tightening the noose around the ISIS gangs more and more every passing day.

Since the launch of the Great Battle for Raqqa, the operation is continuing exactly according the battle plan and every person involved is carrying out their tasks with huge sense of responsibility. Take it from the fighters on the very front lines, to the fighters in the logistic, technics, health and ammunition fields, every single one of them is taking on their duties with the same sense of responsibility. Each of the fighters is saying only this: The operation will end with victory.

Every single point has been prepared in accordance with the necessities of the operation, and constitutes great importance for the campaign to be carried out systematically. The fighters of the SDF have made practical arrangements to comply with those necessities.

One of those points is the practical industry ground set up on the front where armoured vehicles, transport vehicles, light arms and heavy weapons are getting repaired. Aside from the SDF fighters, also civilians are giving a helping hand here to do their share of supporting the operation.

One of those civilians is Ahmed who has the following to say: "I am a mechanic by profession. I have deep knowledge about all sorts of cars and mechanisms. Whenever the comrades need me I am ready and there for them. Sometimes I also go to the frontlines. We repair everything, from damaged vehicles to the cars captured from the gangs.”

YPG fighter Weysi is also working here together with his comrades with great commitment.

Another YPG fighter Karwan said: "What we want most is that the operation does not get disrupted and that the morale of the fighters remains high. Panzers and vehicles play a vital role to retrieve the wounded or martyred comrades from the battle zone. For this reason we are working side by side with all our comrades with huge devotion."
