Media News, Sterk Tv, Çira Tv, Ronahi Tv and Aryen Tv, have announced that they will pay tribute to the memory of those who lost their lives and were kidnapped during the genocide attacks carried out by ISIS in Shengal. 

At 10.59 the five Kurdish television channels will be blackened the screen for a minute. 

At the same time people are expected to hold a minute silence simultaneously in many parts of the world. In addition, marches and events are to be held in dozens of cities to mark the fifth anniversary of the genocide and to demand the recognition of the autonomous status for Shengal.
