The gang groups organized by Turkey started to fight among themselves around al-Bab town taken over from ISIS.
In clashes betweeen gang groups Hamza Brigade and the First Regiment, at least 15 gang members were killed and dozens more were wounded. Some reports say the clashes broke out over personal disagreements, but according to a report by Southfront, sources claim the source of the skirmish is the Damascus Emancipation Committee’s (Heyet Tahrir’üş Şam), founded under the leadership of al-Nusra, activity among the groups that participated in the Euphrates Shield operation.
Clashes among groups have become a daily occurrence in and around al-Bab, while al-Nusra’s influence is reported to be on the rise.
