Demo in Brussels against Turkish occupation in Kurdistan

Kurds and their friends are taking to the streets in protest at the Turkish state’s invasion attacks and threats against Kurdish territories.

Activists gathered in Brussels on Sunday to protest against the Turkish state’s increasingly ongoing invasion attacks on Kurdistan.

During the demonstration promoted by Halkevi (People’s House) and the Socialist Women’s Union (SKB), the activists chanted slogans demanding protection of Kurdistan, and an end to massacres against the Kurds and international silence in the face of crimes in Kurdish lands.

The Kurdish community in Belgium, as well as activists from Partizan and Red Relief also joined the demonstration.

A statement on behalf of the demonstrating group denounced the international support for the Turkish state, including from Europe and NATO, despite Turkey’s occupation policies and genocidal attacks in various parts of Kurdistan.
