The final hearing of the case brought against Şeyhmus Karadağ, co-chair of the Solidarity, with Families Losing Their Relatives in the Cradle of Civilizations Unity and Culture Association (MEBYA-DER) was held on Friday. Karadağ was sentenced to 6 years and 3 months in prison. He was sentenced for making statements to the press about the activities of the association and on behalf of the families who applied to it.

Lawyer Muhittin Muğuç announced that they will appeal the court's decision.
