Komite Internazionalistak,  an internationalist organization of Euskal Herria (Basque Country) issued a statement to denounce the "colonialist policies of Turkey in Rojava and Basur."

The statement said: "We especially denounce at this moment the repression against the HDP, the arrest of hundreds of militants and representatives and the attempt to further outlaw the representation of the Kurdish peoples in the institutions. We send from here all our support and solidarity to the Kurdish people and especially to the HDP in the face of the attacks of Turkish fascism. We also denounce the silence of the European institutions and international organizations in the face of the attacks and fascist policies of the Turkish state."
