Activists in Frankfurt and Västerås protest isolation imposed on Öcalan

The isolation imposed on Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan was protested by activists in the German city of Frankfurt and the Swedish city of Västerås.

Frankfurt

The action in Frankfurt was held in Rathenauplatz. KCDK-E, TJK-E, Kurds and their friends demanded the lawyers be allowed to visit Abdullah Öcalan and the other prisoners in Imrali.

A banner saying "The time has come, freedom for Öcalan" was unfurled, while activists chanted slogans such as "Bijî Serok Apo", "Terrorist Erdoğan".

Activists called on everyone to join the protest to be held tomorrow, Monday at 3 pm, in front of the Iraqi consulate in support Shengal.

Västerås

An action was held in Västerås, Sweden, to protest the isolation imposed on Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan and demand his freedom.

Activists also condemned the attitude of the Turkish government to the Kurdish people and said that such an attitude would not be accepted.
