In contrast to the campaign last year, this year the Initiative for Peace and Hope in Kurdistan e.V. calls for people to pack their gifts in backpacks for sustainability and other benefits.
Examples of the contents of a backpack are new winter clothing, school supplies, dental care, ointments and sweets such as chocolate. The content should be selected according to age groups of 6–10 years, 11–14 years and 15–18 years.
In addition, the Initiative for Peace and Hope in Kurdistan e.V. has been organizing a sponsorship campaign since October 2019, which aims to relieve families in the educational sector. The association calls for support for the campaign.
