22 ISIS members killed in Raqqa

ISIS gangs tried to impede the advance of SDF fighters through the tunnels they dug in Raqqa, but they were destroyed in their tunnels.

Fierce clashes continue between Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and ISIS in all four parts of the Raqqa city. According to reports from the ground, 22 ISIS members have been killed in Tuesday's clashes.

In the neighborhood of Nazlat Shedade, a group of 11 ISIS members attempted to attack the SDF fighters through the tunnels they dug in the area. The attempt of the gangs was thwarted by the strong intervention of SDF fighters, which left all the 11 ISIS members dead. Bodies of the gangs and their arms were seized by the fighters.

In the neighborhood of al-Barid northwest of the city, clashes continue at Idîxar Boulevard where 8 ISIS members were killed and one bomb-laden vehicle was destroyed. 3 SDF fighters got wounded during the fighting here.

In Old Raqqa neighborhood, 3 ISIS members, two of them snipers, have been killed in clashes around the Etîq mosque.
