Early this morning, 16 houses were raided by Turkish police in the southern province of Adana.

13 people were taken into custody for the posts they shared on social media against the Turkish occupation of Northern and Eastern Syria. There were reports of three more people detained.

Since the beginning of the Turkish state's invasion of Northern and Eastern Syria on 9 October, more than 200 people have been taken into custody for their posts shared on social networks.

Dozens of them were remanded in custody.
