10th anniversary of Heyva Sor Italy celebrated with enthusiasm

The Kurdish Red Crescent Heyva Sor a Kurdistan's 10th anniversary event was celebrated at an enthusiastic evening reflecting the solidarity between the Kurdish and Italian peoples.

The 10th anniversary of the Kurdish Red Crescent Heyva Sor a Kurdistan in Italy was celebrated at a special evening event in Livorno.

The event, which was moderated by Alessia Manzi and attended by hundreds of Italians as well as Kurds, featured speeches, music performances, and traditional Kurdish cuisine.

Speakers at the event included Heyva Sor executives, Livorno City Council representative Rocco Garufo, PYD (Democratic Union Party) Foreign Relations Officer Dr. Fuad Omar, representative of the Italian Foreign Relations Coordination (UIKI) Yılmaz Orkan, Rojava Heyva Sor representative in Europe, Şervan Beri, German Heyva Sor executive Rıfat Akter, lawyer Ezio Menzione, and representatives of the organizations Un Ponte Per, Staffetta Sanitaria, and Verso Kurdistan.

The speakers highlighted Heyva Sor a Kurdistan's humanitarian aid efforts to date, its importance for the Kurdish people, and the need to strengthen solidarity between peoples. Those attending the event conveyed the message that this unity will continue to grow in the coming years.

Late in the evening, Kurdish singer Aştî Abdo and Italian music group Assalti Frontali took to the stage and enlivened the night with their songs.

The event ended with a powerful message in support of the solidarity between the Kurdish and Italian peoples.
