ISIS gangs have attacked the village of Ayed Kebir 3 km south of the Tabqa city with heavy weaponry at 05:00 this morning. Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fighters responded to the attack immediately, which resulted in clashes.

In the face of the resistance by SDF, ISIS gangs attempted suicide attacks which were also thwarted by the SDF as suicide bombers were killed before they reached the target.

Attacks on the village were repelled at 09:00 and at least 10 ISIS members were killed during clashes.

Reports from the ground suggest that sporadic clashes continue around the village.
