Thousands from Amûdê and surroundings gathered in front of the Martyrs' Families Assembly in the city and joined the funeral procession to İsmail Hogir Cemetery of Martyrs behind the coffin of martyr Hêvîdar Ebdî’s (Sozdar Garzan).
PYD Co-chair Asya Abdullah, TEV-DEM and Kongreya Star members and YPG-YPJ fighters joined the funeral ceremony in addition to a large number of civilians.
The funeral began with a military ceremony by YPG-YPJ fighters, followed by speeches of Seîd Ferso on behalf of the Martyrs' Families Assembly and PYD's Asya Abdullah, both of whom condemned the Turkish attack and reiterated their promise to follow the footsteps of the martyrs.
Speaking after, martyr Sozdar's father Ebdulkerîm Ebdî said he was proud of his daughter's martyrdom.
Martyr Sozdar Garzan was later laid to rest with slogans.
