YPG/YPJ forces continue to take control of areas that ISIS uses as headquarters or logistic routes. Guerillas recently seized the biggest power plant in the region.

YPG/YPJ forces had taken control of the international Diweliye driving school that ISIS had taken from regime soldiers, and weakened the attacks on Hesekê by closing the Raqqa-Hesekê route to ISIS. YPG/YPJ fighters also destroyed a vehicle near the driving school located 4 km away from Ebyad village that had been used an ISIS headquarter.

YPG/YPJ forces recently liberated the region’s biggest power plant after its simultaneous attack from three different directions on the route between Dera Zor and Seddai. ISIS had been using the area in which the power plant is located as a logistic route.
