YPG: Turkish army shelled our positions 7 times during February

171 members of gang groups were killed and 89 combatants of YPG fell fighting during the month of February. Turkish military continued its attacks against YPG positions in Rojava, West Kurdistan.

YPG (People's Defense Units) Press Office has released the balance sheet of war for the month of February during which 171 members of gang groups were killed and 89 combatants of YPG fell fighting.

The statement provided information regarding the attacks of Turkish military and clashes with gang groups. Accordingly, Turkish military shelled YPG positions 7 times during last month. Turkish attacks with heavy artillery also targeted civilians, leaving 2 of them dead.

YPG Press Office provided the following balance sheet of war for the month of February;

Offensives and operations by YPG: 20

Confrontations and clashes during the offensives and operations: 35

Car bomb attacks of gangs: 6

Gang members killed: 171

Corpses of gang members seized: 25

Offensives, operations, confrontations and clashes with unverified results: 17

YPG forces also seized a large quantity of ammunition belonging to gang groups.

89 combatants of YPG were martyred during the month of February. These do not include those from the operation area of SDF troops.
