YPG: Turkish army and gangs continue their attacks on Rojava

YPG reported that the Turkish army and gangs continued their attacks on the lands of Rojava, West Kurdistan.

YPG (People's Defense Units) Press Office released a statement providing information regarding the continued attacks of the Turkish army and allied gangs.

According to the statement, Turkish backed gangs attacked the Martyr Shilan hill in Efrîn's Cindires district with DShK weapons on April 7. The same day, Turkish aircraft conducted flights over the Qermilix village of Shiye on the borderline. The gangs attacked Efrîn's Belûnê, Ayn Deqnê and Maranez villages with DShK and mortar fire twice in the evening and night on April 7.

At the night of April 8, Turkish forces attacked the village of Tal Shaîr on the western border of Kobanê with heavy weaponry.

Gangs affiliated with the Turkish army attacked Efrîn's Maranez, Ayn Deqnê and Belûnê villages with mortar and DShK fire the same night. The aggression continued into the morning hours.

On April 9, Turkish backed gangs carried out at least 30 mortar attacks on Efrîn's Maranez, Malikiye and Belûnê villages and opened fire on YPG positions till the morning hours. Concurrently with the attacks, Turkish UAVs conducted flights over the areas targeted by these attacks.

From noon to the evening of April 10, Turkish affiliated gangs attacked the YPG positions in Efrîn's Maranez village with DShK weapons.

While YPG forces responded to the attacks of the Turkish army and allied gangs, losses suffered by the mentioned forces couldn't be clarified.
