A military campaign, Operation Commander Rubar Qamishlo that was initiated on May 6 with the objective of liberating the rural district of Canton Cizîre, Rojava from ISIS threats, endures in its 13th day achieving significant successes, reported YPG Media Center in a written statement today.
YPG reported that ISIS gangs conducted 4 separate attacks in the villages of Huda and Til Fîtetat with an aim to break the circle of Defense Units throughout yesterday. Attacks of the gang groups were repelled after two suicide attacks they carried out with explosive-laden vehicles.
According to the statement, gang groups who conducted separate attacks against Defense Units in the evening as well were followed and completely destroyed.
The villages of Til Tal, Qahîre, Selmasa, Dişîşa, Dişîşa Beggara, Sikr Hêmir – which involves 3 villages-, Dibsa and Til Xelîfa were cleansed of gangs and liberated as a result of operations against ISIS-occupied areas.
Last night, YPG/YPJ forces seized control of the strategic Xerra junction and a strategic point in the eastern foothills of Abd al Aziz mountain (Jebel ‘Abd al Aziz) in an operation last night.

YPG Media Center recalled that the resistance aimed at an entire cleansing of Kobanê from ISIS continued in its 246th day.
In an operation against ISIS-held areas to the east of Kobanê last night, YPG/YPJ fighters liberated the villages of Şewik, Koçgar and Berbihesên, while the exact number of ISIS casualties couldn't be verified.
1 member of the ISIS groups was killed in an attack near the village of Cêbariyê in south Kobane last night, YPG Media Center added.
