YPG: 15 villages liberated in Cizirê and Kobanê

YPG/YPJ (People's/Women's Defense Units) have liberated 9 villages and 4 hamlets in an offensive they started last night to eliminate the ISIS threat in the western part of the Cizirê Canton of West Kurdistan, Rojava. Six other villages were also liberated from ISIS in Kobanê.
YPG Press Centre said in today's statement about the ongoing fighting in Rojava that the operation which was launched in an area 30 km west of Til Temir and 25 km south of Serêkaniyê continues successfully.
In this area where gang groups organised their attacks in this region, El Malha, Dîşo, Sirac, Hela, Bihema, Effun, Qeşqa, Gişat and Rezaza villages, Rezaza hill and 4 hamlets have been cleansed of gangs and liberated.
33 members of the gangs were killed and bodies of 5 were seized in the ongoing operation during which Defense Units also destroyed two vehicles of the gang groups, one military and the other with a DShK (Dushka) anti-aircraft machine gun installed on it.
Recalling that the Kobanê resistance continues on the 234th day, YPG Press Centre said that ISIS gangs were inflicted severe blows in a clash that erupted upon an attack of the gangs in east Kobanê.
In an operation they launched after repelling ISIS attacks, Defense Units liberated the lower and upper Rêkasa, Kortik, Horik and lower and upper Xirabê Zer villages. The exact number of ISIS casualties left in the operation couldn't be verified, YPG Press Centre added.
