Young people in Hacıbekir (Xaçort) neighborhood in Ipekyolu district of Van protested the invading Turkish army for the bombing of the region of Zînî Wertê and the KDP for deploying new forces there.

On Monday evening, the invading Turkish police attacked young people who had built barricades and lit a fire.

Five young people, whose names could not be learned, were taken into custody following the police attack. Allegedly Turkish police tortured the young people who were detained.
