Patriotic Revolutionary Youth Movement (YDG-H) has reported in a written statement that their resistance continues ceaselessly in response to the fascist AKP government's all-out attacks targeting the areas of self-rule.

SUR

YDG-H said 3 members of state forces were killed while attempting to infiltrate into Hasırlı neighborhood of Amed's Sur district, but were responded and stopped with hand grenades on 21 December.

While tanks also attempted to advance into the neighborhood, actions by YDH-G units left one tank damaged and 3 members of state forces dead.

According to the statement, youth groups have carried out 10 actions against state forces in Sur district in the last two days, but no verified figures are available as to the casualties these resulted in.

On 21 December, youths infiltrated into an area of Turkish forces in Karadeniz neighborhood. While the operation teams here were encircled, 4 members of their were killed in a clash.

One special operation police was killed upon attempting to enter the neighborhood by using the roofs of houses near Kurşunlu Mosque area.

While Turkish forces continue bombing Sur district from both ground and the air, a helicopter firing on neighborhoods was hit by YDG-H, which left it damaged and forced to make an emergency landing.

SİLOPİ

In Silopi district of Şırnak, actions by youths killed 3 special operation police in Zap neighborhood and 2 others in Barbaros neighborhood on 22 December.

On 21 December, YDG-H units killed 3 police in Nuh neighborhood and 2 others in Zap neighborhood where one civilian woman lost her life as state forces targeted a house with rockets.

Both Nuh and Zap neighborhoods remain under artillery and mortar fire.

In Karşıyaka neighborhood, a 19-year-old civilian youth died as a result of attacks by state forces.

In Nuh neighborhood, a total of 10 civilian houses have been targeted and demolished by Turkish forces.

CİZRE

Artillery and tank strikes by state forces across Şırnak's Cizre district mainly intensify in Cudi, Yafes and Nur neighborhoods.

A group of special operation police attempted to infiltrate into Cizre's Cudi neighborhood on 22 December but were intervened by youth groups, which left 1 police dead.

On 21 December, an armored vehicle of state forces was destroyed by detonation of a trap in Nur neighborhood.

The same day, Turkish forces set civilian houses on fire in Cudi neighborhood.

One soldier was killed in an assassination action by YDG-H in Cudi neighborhood yesterday. 3 police were killed in another action this morning.

One other armored vehicle was completely destroyed after detonation of an explosive in Dörtyol area where separately 3 special operation members have been killed today.

NUSAYBİN

As state forces continue attacking Kanika neighborhood of Mardin's Nusaybin district, response by youths left a police dead at 11:00 on 22 December.

An armored vehicle working for Turkish forces was also destroyed by YDG-H units the same day.

Artillery attacks by state forces killed a 45-year-old civilian in Kanika neighborhood.

'HOSPITALS, SCHOOLS AND HOUSES USED AS QUARTERS'

Stating that members of Turkish military and police forces have occupied hotels, hospitals, schools and civilians houses for the last one week and are using them as quarters now, YDG-H said this situation is an open violation of the law of war.

Defending that civil society organisations must raise a stronger voice against the mobilization of state forces in civilian areas, YDG-H also called upon international organisations to take urgent action against the killing of defenseless civilians by state forces.

'YOUTHS SHOULD ENSURE ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IN RESISTANCE'

YDG-H reiterated their goal and commitment to lead this resistance against occupant forces to victory, and called upon the Patriotic Revolutionary Youth to ensure the continuation of an active participation in the resistance in the manner of mobilization.
