Turkish army launches military operation in the region of Ömeryan

The invading Turkish army launched a military operation in the region of Ömeryan, between Ömerli, Nusaybin and Artuklu in the province of Mardin. Despite the curfew currently in place in the area, a second curfew was also declared.

The Turkish army launched a military operation in the region of Ömeryan between Artuklu, Nusaybin and Ömerli, in the province of Mardin.

Mardin Governorship issued a written statement regarding the military operation. The statement said the areas where the operation and curfew will be imposed are Kurika Çeto (Aytepe), Qûrdîse (Yardere), Dara (Oğuz) and Qesra Ehmed (Ahmetli) rural neighborhoods of Artuklu district, Xerabêbaba (Koruköy) of Nusaybin, Cinata Muho (Büyükkardeş) Cinata Hiso (Küçükkardeş), Quzo (Doğuş) rural neighborhoods and Kuşkayası hamlet, Ömerli's Haciya (Sulakdere) rural neighborhood.
