A wildfire erupted on Friday in the vicinity of the Gundikê Remo (Anılmış) and Gundikê Spîndarûk (Kavalı) villages in the region of Mount Cudi in Şırnak countryside.

The fire continues to spread as relevant authorities take no action to extinguish it. Moreover, the local people who mobilized to put out the fire have been prevented by Turkish state forces for alleged “security” reasons.
