Two armed assailants captured in Shengal turn out to be ISIS members
Two out of the four assailants from the KDP-affiliated “Rojava Peshmergas” who were captured alive by YBŞ fighters in Shengal, turned out to be ISIS members.

Clashes have erupted this morning after a so-called “Rojava-Peshmerga” group affiliated to the KDP of South Kurdistan forcibly attempted to enter the areas held by Shengal Resistance Units (YBŞ) in Xanesor town of Shengal.
While 4 members of this armed group were captured alive by YBŞ fighters, two of these turned out to be former members of the ISIS.
The two Arab militants, whose names were not immediately clear, reportedly left ISIS and joined FSA groups when Turkish Armed Forces entered Jarablus under the name of "Euphrates Shield".
MEETING WITH ERDOĞAN LED ISIS MEMBERS TO SHENGAL
According to reports by local sources, the two ISIS members joined "Rojava Peshmergas" after getting trained by the Turkish army in recent period.
Sources state that the two ISIS members are a part of a group affiliated to the "Euphrates Shield" Operation Room who were transported to Hewler under the name of "Rojava Peshmergas" following the KRG President Masoud Barzani's recent meeting with Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan in Ankara.
WOMEN BLOCKADED THE XANESOR HOSPITAL
Women from Xanesor blockaded the hospital to which the KDP-affiliated group's wounded members were transferred during the fighting, and chanted slogans in response to the KDP's attack. Women continue their demonstration.
CIVILIAN ÊZIDÎS TARGETED
On the other hand, reports are coming through that the KDP group shelled villages to the east of Shengal, which left many civilians injured and one other dead.
CONCERNS OVER ROJAVA YOUTHS REFUSING TO JOIN THE FIGHTING
In the meantime, 80 youths from Rojava from the "Rojava Peshmergas" who have refused to take part in the attack and laid down arms have been taken away by KDP's intelligence service Parastin. According to local sources, efforts are made for the execution of these youths with the intention of making it look like they were killed during clashes.
