Turkish soldiers dig trenches in Tendürek region

Suffering heavy blows at the hands of guerrilla forces, Turkish soldiers dug trenches on the roads in Tendürek region against probable actions by guerrillas.

Turkish soldiers dug trenches on the roads leading to villages and uplands in Tendürek region located between Ağrı's Doğubayazıt district and Van's Çaldıran district.

According to local reports, soldiers dug trenches on the roads of Tutek, Ket and Kezo villages and Kanîspî upland in Diyadin district yesterday amid ongoing reconnaissance activity by the Turkish army. Soldiers also demolished the bridge in Kezo village.

Soldiers and special operations teams were dispatched in some 30 minibuses and armored vehicles to the area where trenches were dug with diggers.

The village of Hecihalit (Hecixalit) in the same region was blockaded by the Turkish forces in the evening hours yesterday.
