Turkish helicopters bombed villages in Bradost region

On the night of January 31, the occupying Turkish army used its helicopters to bomb the countryside of Bradost region in Hewler province, Kurdistan Region.

According to information obtained from local sources, Turkish helicopters last night shelled villages in Lêlikan and Çiyadêl regions in Bradost region of southern Kurdistan, northern Iraq.

The bombardment led to material damages to the farmlands of villagers.

It is worth mentioning that the occupying Turkish army ceaselessly bombs civilian locations in Kurdistan Region.

In 2018, local people in Lêlikan, Xelîfan, Bresenan, Alekan, Gureşan and Buzunê were forced into displacement for one week due to the Turkish attacks.
