Turkish military forces are causing more fires across Northern Kurdistan.

The Turkish army launched an operation in the countryside of Bitlis province following an imposition of curfew by the Governor’s Office on 26 villages on September 22nd.

Fire erupted in the Sihe forests in the operation zone and spread to a larger area soon. The thick smoke rising from the scene can be easily seen from the surrounding settlements in Bitlis.
