HPG Press Office said the Turkish army launched mortar attacks on the Siro Hill and its foothills from the Derik military post located in Gerdiya area of Semzinan district of Hakkari on 26 March between 16:00-17:00.
On 26 March, between 14:00-15:00, -the statement said- the colonialist Turkish army carried out drone flights over Martyr Rahime and Martyr Gafur areas at the Avasin border line of Medya Defence Zones, while an air activity also took place in the same hours on Zap region, said the statement of the HPG.
HPG further reported that the same day between 18:30-22:30, Turkish soldiers launched mortar fire on Martyr Kendal area from the artillery battalion located in Maymun Hill of Bojeh village at Haftanin border of the Medya Defence Zones.
