Turkish armored vehicle hits and wounds a civilian in Yüksekova
Armored vehicle hit an elderly man in Yüksekova, Hakkari. The man suffered a critical injury and was taken under operation.
An armored vehicle of Turkish state forces hit 56 years old civilian Halit Artık as he crossed the street in Yüksekova (Gever) district of Hakkari. The man fell on the ground, drenched in blood, and he was rushed to Yüksekova Public Hospital by the people around who were also insulted and threatened by the police upon protesting the incident.
The man was taken under operation and he is in critical condition, with risk of losing a leg.
On 8 October 2016, gunfire opened from an armored vehicle killed 4 people and wounded 2 others at the same scene.
