Turkish airstrikes protested in Qeladızê

The Turkish state continues its genocidal attacks against the Kurdish people and their lands.

People met in the centre of Qeladızê to protest against the aerial attack by the Turkish state on 21 March, Newroz day.

During the mentioned attack, a rocket landed in between Qeladızê and Jarawe village.

“The Turkish state and Erdoğan have been attacking us in this region for years. The local people are being forced to leave these lands”, said the statement, condemning the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi government for their silence.

“How long will you be silent? - said the statement - Until when will you pretend as if this was a land without rights?”

The statement ended by calling on “the honorable citizens of the region and all the people of Kurdistan: Let's not be silent against these inhumane attacks. They're dropping bombs on our towns and lands. If it continues like this, they would even bomb Hewlêr and Sulaymaniyah tomorrow.”
