Turkey transfer mercenaries from Libya to Derecik

It was reported that the Turkish army, which suffered serious losses in the invasion operations in South Kurdistan, brought mercenaries from Libya to Derecik to use them in the attacks against the Medya Defense Areas.

According to Mezopotamya News Agency (MA), 560 mercenaries were brought to the Derecik in Hakkari with the purpose of using them in the operation carried out against Zap, Avashin and Metina.

First, specially trained members of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and Roj peshmergas, then Iraqi Army soldiers and KDP peshmergas were included in the operation. Finally, FSA members were sent to strengthen the operation where village guards had previously been sent by force.

According to MA, a FSA group of 560 people, which Turkey allegedly pulled out from Libya, was put in the military unit in Derecik, in Hakkari, ready to be included in the operation. Previously, about a thousand FSA members were located at the Turkish base in Bamernî.
