A number of soldiers for the Turkish army have been dispatched to Yüksekova district of Hakkari in civilian passenger aircraft since 5 am this morning.

Many passenger planes have today landed at the Selahattin Eyyubi Airport in the district which normally houses one single flight a day.

It is reported that six passenger jets have landed at the airport so far, and that the aircraft transported soldiers for the Turkish army.

Reports also say that armored vehicles are being kept ready on the road leading to Oramar region.
