PUK calls for an urgent end to Turkish airstrikes

Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Politburo Spokesperson İmad Ahmet pointed out that attacks of the Turkish state caused casualties, destruction of local people's houses and fields as well as forcing the people to leave their lands.

Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Politburo Spokesperson İmad Ahmet has released a statement strongly condemning the Turkish state's ongoing airstrikes against guerrilla areas and the massacre of civilians it resulted in Zergelê village of Kandil this morning.

PUK Politburo Spokesman pointed out that attacks of the Turkish state caused casualties, destruction of local people's houses and fields as well as forcing the people to leave their lands, and called for an urgent end to the airstrikes of Turkish state and continuation of the peace process between Turkey and the Kurdish movement. 

Ahmet urged the international community and human rights organizations to immediately end their silence on the ongoing attacks and massacres and to take steps to prevent the airstrikes and the massacre and displacement of the people living here.
