41 years old Hüsetin Yiğit got injured during the armed attack of the police on young people digging new trenches in Silopi.

Heavy clashes took place in the Martyr Harun Neighborhood of Şırnak’s Silopi district last night. Young people were defending themselves and got attacked by the police as they were digging trenches.

Hüseyin Yiğit (41) heard the gunshots and left his house, and was soon shot in this arm. Yiğit was taken to Cizre State Hospital, and remains to be in good condition.
