Special operation teams that blockaded Amed's central Sur district as of early morning hours today opened fire on people at random in Hasırlı neighborhood.

39 year-old woman by the name of Saliha Opçin who was seriously wounded in the attack was rushed to Selahattin Eyyübi State Hospital. Following an immediate treatment here, the woman, reportedly with mental disabilities, was taken under treatment at Dicle University Medical Faculty Hospital.

While the blockade by security forces in the neighborhood continues, people have started to gather in the district upon the call of DBP provincial branch.
