PJAK launched attacks against Iranian armed forces: 16 deads

Members of PJAK, East Kurdistan Forces(HRK)on Wednesday launched two separate attacks against Iranian armed forces after 4 PJAK militants were executed by Iranian regime on 9 May in Evin prison.

A raid to the military post of the Revolution Guards was launched in Meriwan between the villages Berderes and Dublur at late night, the HRK say in their release. The release adds that while 12 soldiers had been killed and two injured, the military post was taken over by the HRK.

Almost at the same time, in Piransehir between the villages of Berdanaze and Zino, a military vehicle was ambushed. As the result of this action 4 soldier died, and 4 were injured.

The HRK declare that the guerrilla suffered no losses. The HRK underline that both attacks are to be read within the week of “Resistance and Freedom” launched by PJAK.
