PJAK call for week of freedom and resistance after executions

PJAK has announced the week of “Resistance and Freedom” to honour the memory of the 5 guerrillas poisoned in Dalaho and the 4 political prisoners executed in Evin Prison in Tehran. In a declaration, PJAK call for people to adopt the murdered and executed men and a woman and to rebel within the week of resistance and freedom. “We, as PJAK, after the genocide clearly understood the message of the enemy”, says PJAK. The week will include days between 9-15 of May. PJAK call for the people of East Kurdistan and Iran to show their reaction.

Early on Wednesday morning, hundreds of people went to the family's houses of Ferhat Wekili’s and Eli Heyderyan, and to that of poisoned Feki Suleymani, local sources said.

While tension grows, Iran regime sieged the town, local shopkeepers closed their shops and the people waited for the corpses.

The tense waiting continues also in the birth town of executed Ferzad Kemanger, Kamyaran. Hundreds of people gathered and went to Kemanger’s house to express their condolences.

Families that had no real answer from the officials in Tehran on the issue of taking the corpses of their beloved, gathered in front of Evin Prison. The conditions put forward by the officials to be allowed to take the corpses home were not accepted by the families. The families of Sirin Elem Hulu, Ferhata Wekili, Ferzad Kemanger, Eli Heyderyan and Mehdi Eslamiyan had met with the Revolution Court and Islam Council official on Tuesday. The officers stated that they will not hand out the corpses to the families. “The government will organise the funeral and afterwards it will inform the families as to where their children have been buried”, the solicitor of the executed detainees, Xelil Behramiyan said.

Following the executions, Tehran administration declared the state of emergency across East Kurdistan and sent a committee from the crisis management centre to the Sine town. It has been learned that Sine Governor told the committee “If the corpses are given to the families, there will be an uprising in the town. This must not be done.”
