5 ISIS gang members were killed in Sinjar in clashes on 1 April, said a joint statement of the HPG and YBS Commands.

The statement said the operations of the resistance forces are continuing in Sinjar, reporting that the guerrilla forces launched an attack on a vehicle of the gangs in the Suka Jer neighbourhood on 1 April at 15:00-16:00. The vehicle was destroyed while 4 gang members were killed and 2 others wounded, added the statement.

It has further been reported in the statement that at 15:30 in Suka Jer, the guerrilla forces hit the gang groups with rockets, killing 2 gang members.

At around 16:00, gang groups located on Xayaşude Hill on the upper side of Suka Jer were hit by the guerrilla forces, wounding 1 gang member, the statement concluded.
