New guerrillas: We came for our people

Young people who have recently joined the guerrilla ranks said that they reject the policies of the Turkish and Iranian states against the Kurdish people.

Despite the oppression and intimidation policies of the colonial states, young people is determined to fight for the freedom of Kurdistan and its people and join the guerrilla ranks.

Young people who reach the Media Defense Areas and are in the process of becoming guerrilla spoke to ANF.

Memyan Mawa said that he believes that young people has a duty to counter the Turkish state and its policy of destruction and genocide. "Turkey wants to erase Kurdish identity, Kurdish history and Kurdish memory. A genocide is being carried out on every part of Kurdistan. While the Iranian regime carries out repression, assimilation and annihilation policies, the Turkish state is waging a special war based genocide, racism and targets Kurdish youth. As Kurdish youths, we have decided to become freedom fighters."

Watching is not enough

Ferhat Weranşar said that while terrorist policies and practices were imposed on the Kurdish society, watching from a distance and sympathizing was not enough. "They destroy and burn Kurdish cities and want to eradicate Kurdish consciousness. As a Kurdish youth, I did not accept this injustice. I went through a good education. I'm going to practice and face challenges. My goals are high."

Iranian regime promised no future

Numan Çilçemal, who joined the guerrilla ranks, said he did not accept the pressures of the Iranian regime and stated that he did not tolerate the execution and arrest of people every day under the name of Islam.

Çilçemal said that the Iranian regime promised no future other than drugs, prostitution, theft and surrender. "I became aware of the system's denial and inhuman arguments. I also became aware of the Kurdish society and the extermination policy of the Kurds. Now it's time for me to fight against all this more."

 

Xebat Diwandere, who set off from the city of Diwandere and reached the mountains of Kurdistan, said that it was necessary to counter the colonists who enjoyed the death of the Kurds. Xebat Diwandere said: "We cannot leave our people vulnerable while the states of the region are implementing genocide plans on the Kurds. Kurdish youth can become a freedom fighter within the PKK, a good revolutionary."
