On the 14th day of the Commander Rubar Qamishlo operation to liberate the western rural parts of Cizîr Canton, YPG forces have achieved full control over the mountain at around 13:05 local time after reaching the summit of the mountain at an altitude of 920 metres.
The villages of Til Xelif, Dipset, Xerap Zera and Sira on the northern slopes of the mountain were also cleansed of the gangs and liberated.
A large number of ISIS members have been reported killed in the area where mop-up operations are currently taking place.
