The HPG reported that the Turkish army's unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) performed reconnaissance flights over the border line of Xakurke area in Media Defence Zones between 07.00 and 14.00 on May 20. The aerial activities continued increasingly over the Media Defence Zones during the following hours.
According to the HPG report, the Turkish army's UAVs performed reconnaissance flights over
- the border of Şemdinli district of Hakkari and Arê area between 21.00 and 00.00 on May 20,
- Şukê and Tabura Ereba areas located on border line of Avashin region between 16.00 on May 20 and 12.00 on May 21,
- Zap region between 06.00 on May 20 and 04.00 on May 21 (today),
- Cudi area of Şırnak province between 18.00 on May 19 and 07.30 on May 21;
Turkish warplanes mobility took place over Avashin area between 17.00 and 17.30 and Zap region between 15.00 and 17.30 on May 20.
The Turkish troops deployed at Bilican guardhouse located on the border line of of Zap region in Media Defence Zones carried out random bombardment with individual and heavy weapons between 17.00 and 19.00 on May 20.
