DBP district deputy co-chair Maşallah Burhanlı and co-mayors Halis Coşkun and Memnune Söylemez have been arrested on charges of “membership to a terrorist organization”, “conspiracy to rig bids on tender” and “financing a terrorist organization”.

The arrested officials were transferred to Muş Type E Closed Prison.

The Municipality building is under police blockade and entry and exit are subject to permission.
